This Privacy Policy is entered into between Blue Root Technology ("Blue Root," “Company,” "we," "us," or "our") and you, the client ("Client," "you," or "your"). The policy outlines our practices and procedures on the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of information that we process in the course of providing our Managed IT Services including support, network management, security, and cloud solutions ("Services").

This policy is designed to help you understand what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and how you can update, manage, export, and delete your information.

  • Client Information:

    • Contact Information: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses of our clients' representatives.

    • Billing Information: Payment details and billing addresses necessary for processing payments for our services.

    • Contractual Information: Agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), and other documents related to the services we provide.

  • User Information:

    • Contact Information: Names, email addresses, and phone numbers of our clients' end-users who may contact us for support.

    • Hardware and Software Information: IP addresses, device identifiers, hardware models, operating systems, credentials, and other technical information about the devices and systems we manage or support.

    • Usage Data: Information about how our services are used, including log files, access times, and performance data.

  • Website Information:

    • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your browsing activities on our website. This may include, but is not limited to, your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. You may opt out of collection of cookies and tracking when visiting our website.

You have the following rights concerning your personal information:

  • Access and Correction: You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and request that we correct or update it.

  • Data Portability: You have the right to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

  • Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions, including but not limited to, backups, data related to the continued operations of the Company, or where not technically possible.

  • Opt-Out of Communications: You can opt-out of receiving promotional, marketing, or other non-essential correspondence from us by following the unsubscribe instructions in those materials.

7. Data Retention

We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. These purposes primarily include implementing, administering, and managing your participation in the Managed IT Services.

In addition, we will retain your personal information as required to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, such as those related to tax and securities laws.

When your personal information is no longer necessary for these purposes, we will remove it from our systems. This means that even if you request deletion as outlined in section 6, we may be required to retain certain information to satisfy our legal or regulatory obligations.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information or seek consent from an authorized parent or guardian.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are made, we will post the new Privacy Policy on our website and update the "Last Updated" date. If you are currently covered by an active Service Agreement, we will provide written notice of any material changes. It remains the Client's responsibility to regularly review the current version of this Privacy Policy on our website to stay informed of any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy do not terminate any ongoing Service Agreement, and the updated Privacy Policy will apply to all Services provided under active Service Agreements from the date specified in the updated Privacy Policy or notice.
